Top down survival horror created by Acid Wizard studios. Did a search to see if a thread had already been made about this game but it yielded no results.

Features:

CHALLENGING GAMEPLAY

No hand holding, tooltips or linear paths. Think, learn and adapt - if you will behave recklessly or do not prepare for the night, you will not survive.

PERMADEATH

Dying is a part of the game, and you don't have extra lives. But not all of your progress is lost, as some things carry on to your next incarnation..

SATISFYING EXPLORATION

A breathing, procedurally generated world for you to explore. Each visit to Darkwood is unique, as all locations and events are randomized.

PERKS AND ABILITIES

Improve your character with skills that will give you advantage over your enemies.

CRAFTING

A flexible crafting system which lets you experiment with loot to: create items, build barricades or traps, and improve your gear with addons.

TWISTED ATMOSPHERE

You will start to question your sanity, as the line between reality and nightmarish fantasies will begin to blur.

Currently have a campaign going on indiegogo which can be found on the Darkwood website http://www.darkwoodgame.com/ - Not sure if it'll reach the 40k target though so I thought I'd post it up here to generate some hype for it.

Personally think it looks great!

I think this looks like a nice concept, so I've donated $10 for the game.

Campaign is now at £18,841 out of $40,000 target with 17 days to go.

I just hope they get the 40k, although I'm feeling doubtful. The cash is going up so slowly, and with only 16 days to go 20k is quite a bit to get - they really need to try and up the advertising some how...

Ooh, this looks interesting. Think I'll go in for the $15 early bird option. :)

Been a big month for me a Kickstarter/IndieGoGo -- backed "Ray's the Dead" and "HEX" on Kickstarter (HEX for big money), and now this!

Lets jump on the garbage heap that is the slenderman bandwagon! Looks the same, total trash.

Completely unrelated to slender man, didn't realise all horror games were similar to slenderman because of the dark setting...

Amnesia: Slendermans descent anyone?
