Our team is made up of passionate gamers with AAA game development experience. We have worked on titles such as Battlefield, DesertCombat, Frontlines and more, but now we are ready to break some rules and make some games that bring the community together for some laugh out loud experiences. Our focus is on online core gaming that requires skill, teamwork and diapers because you are going to **** your pants.

Saw this on the EAUK forum, looks like it might be one to watch.

Interesting variation on the theme, Ravaged is basically at closed beta stage and they're raising $15k to:

Finalize marketing and publishing material for Steam
Finish production of the game trailer
Set up beta testing equipment
Develop more vehicles and weapons
Add finishing touches to gameplay and levels

So interestingly they already have gameplay videos, which basically made me go oooh and sign up - i love vehicle combat.

$15 gets you into CB, $25 gets you the game etc. Given the late stage of development that seems ok, now my second KS effort. 41 days to go and they're 5k into a 15k goal so likely to be paying out on this one.

I fell in love with the video. I'm a huge fan of the Twisted Metal/Vigilante type games, this looks pornographic.

Pledged.

What is the point in closing the kickstarter thread and joining it to this one? The point of the other thread was to highlight the kickstarter effort and give people the opportunity to participate and lock in a cheap game, not to bury it in obscure 'this looks interesting' thread that disappeared off the front page in 12 hours. Common sense would differentiate the two, too much to expect i suppose.

I didn't think it needed closing, but I'm not the person in charge. I didn't want to see your post wasted, so I moved it over manually, I can't shift anything. I just copied what I could and redone the links.

EDIT: Maybe get a mod to put kickstarter into the title of this thread?

Nah I got that mate, I was just raging against the mod who blindly closed the kickstarter thread. Yeah a change to the title would have been logical or even better leaving the other one open. Why does this need spelling out I ask myself?

Still, looks a good game , lots of hope for it - see ya in the beta.

Sounds less of a protest about thread locking, more the lack of highlighting Kickstarter, like in the thread title. There's already a kickstarter link in his post from the Kickstarter thread. People are people, they don't read posts and can miss this kind of thing, putting it in the title would do the job a bit better, I think.

EDIT: Must. Post. Quicker.

LOL, hmmm mischievous Neil79. Whats the chances people are gonna read past the first couple of posts about an indie game *yawn*. well, ill tell ya, not much considering it disappeared the next morning when originally posted. I mean cmon, who would blindly post a link to a smiliar thread because its got the same name in the title - you must be really raging against the SWTOR threads out there ;)

Anyway as no ones gonna be in work tomorrow, its pretty much guaranteed to disappear. Pointless, but my cash is down so no skin off my nose. Changing the title to this thread would at least be something.

Terribly sorry my original thread didn't live up to your requirements, have some roll eyes:rolleyes:

I'm not sure you were meant to take that personally. It was statement of fact in a debate of logic. Your thread was absolutely fine, better than fine, it was an early thread about what looks like a very promising game. It just didn't have the kickstarter info that I doubt was available to you at the time. Don't have an identity crisis, have a winky eye;)
