What sets IndieGameStand apart is its pricing system. Every four days a different game will be featured, during its feature period the game will be pay-what-you-want which is a spectacular deal for gamers, as I’m sure you’re all aware from other pay-what-you-want sales. It’s also great for developers, who get 70% of the proceeds and lots of exposure for their game.

For the four days that the game is featured, 10% of all sales profits go to a charity of the developer’s choice. Once you have bought the game and sent your money off to both the developer and charity, you will have access to your DRM free download. This means that once you buy them, they are added to what is called your digital wallet. From there, they can be downloaded at your leisure to any computer simple, easy, and efficient.

IdieGameStand will launch September 26th. If you head to the site between now and then and sign up, you will be rewarded with a free copy of Chester (a 2D platformer with some light RPG elements).

The Geneforge Saga ( PAY WHAT YOU WANT )

:D

The Geneforge saga is one of the great tales of Indie gaming. Spanning five games over eight years, it is the epic and innovative tale of a desperate rebellion against overwhelming odds. The Geneforge games feature a unique, almost completely open-ended system. You can help (or fight) the Rebellion on its path to victory (or defeat). And, whatever path you choose, you can follow it with your own horde of deadly, custom-made mutant monsters.

You are a Shaper. You have the power to create life. You can make living tools that obey your commands, plants that can flourish in the harshest wasteland, and powerful monsters that can crush all who oppose you. The Shapers ruled the known lands, and any who rebel or try to learn their magical secrets are destroyed.

Cardinal Quest

Cardinal Quest is an arcade-style dungeon-crawler inspired by 1980s classics such as Gauntlet, Red-Box D&D and Golden Axe: Choose your champion and begin your quest to slay the Evil Minotaur!

Three distinct characters await you, each providing their own unique experience:

• The Fierce Fighter - who can stir himself into a berserk frenzy.
• The Stealthy Thief - a mysterious assassin who dispatches his foes from the shadows.
• The Mystical Wizard - able to bend the forces of the elements to his will.
