No, stop trying to tart up your derv Passat. An induction kit will make a lot of noise and not make it any faster without a remap. It'll sound horrible as well with a derv engine.
Declaring it on your insurance will be a side effect, as will looking like a total berk as you try and race 1.1 Saxo's in your sleeper.
GET RID OF THE PASSAT AND BUY A PROPER CAR. READING THESE THREADS IS LIKE TRYING TO OPEN A FRIDGE WITH YOUR PENIS - DIFFICULT AND ULTIMATELY POINTLESS.
nnnnnnnnNNNNNGGGGGGHHHH!
But yeah, stop trying to turn it into something it isn't. There's zero point.
You're likely to get a nicer power curve with the original plenum chamber/s on the intake. Induction kits make little difference to anything but cheap small hatchbacks.
You've got forced induction already with the turbo. Shortage of air into the engine isn't the problem. If you want a faster car, you should have bought a faster car in the first place, instead of gassing all the other road users with an overmapped turbo diesel.
punch a hole in your exhaust while you're at it, that'll make it noisier.
There is no point in an induction kit on a derv, well, not that 3 extra HP will make much difference (if that), it won't make it sound any better, it's a diesel - they sound terrible anyway (in most cases).
If you really want to make any difference, look into the tuning boxes instead. sure, it might wreck your engine eventually, but at least it'll be one less passhat on the road

Most likely lose power if anything, will draw hot air from the engine bay if not done correctly. Plus if you look at the expenisve kits, they are all very similar design to whats already there.
Most cars, have slight mods you can do to make it breath a bit better. E.G for mine you can fit the pipes from the Vectra Diesel onto the airbox as they are larger and give it a little bit more noise.
