Well, decided to make a thread about it. It's starting in a few minutes. Alonso was polesitter and is now P5. He says the steering is setup not to turn as much like F1 cars due to the nature of the oval circuit. So effectively I guess they understeer. In true Honda McLaren fashion, they had to replace his engine before qualis last week. Anyway, should be an exciting race!

I was expecting them to take up grid positions after the warm up laps but instead it was like being behind a safety car and then sprinting after the car goes off circuit. Anyway, Alonso was in 9th but is now 7th. This is exciting!

So what's Alonso going to do when he's in the lead at lap 150 then his Honda engine blows? Fly's to Japan, heads to the Honda headquarters and goes on a rampage?

Is it just me or is Alonso just breezing past these guys.
