Can't see anything about it, but last night Dario Franchitti won his 3rd competitive series (as in 3rd in a row that he's been in).

Good work fella! Won't get much recognition this side of the pond though :(

And I think it's great that IZod let you watch the races on the web in HD with 4 car cams for free ;)
 
Not sure if they'll do it next year but they stream every race live on the website for free.

And it's Indycar BTW.

Good job by Franchitti but Will Power made it easy for him, all he had to do was finish more or less.

American open wheel motorsport is really in the doldrums atm, if you saw the live pictures I'd estimate there were less than 15,000 people there. For a championship decider. Tony george really mucked it all up and Ego's got in the way of reunification for years and years. Back when CART was the primary openwheel series in America it was fantastic, but then Tony George got greedy and messed it all up. Great racers, great racing and well matched cars that you could overtake with. For a time I preferred it over F1.
