Infernal on Steam

Infernal has just gone on sale via steam, was wondering if anyone has played it & if it's worth buying. I think its $39.99 so around £21...

Just finished it myself, lovely looking game but simplistic gameplay. You are generally looking for keys to open doors or running and gunning with an occasional boss. It really does look fantastic though, especially the character animations. Its 3rd person though it would have worked a lot better as a 1st person imo, but the 3rd person perspective gets bareable after the first few levels . Not really a game i will be playing every week, can see myself going back to it before the end of the summer though for a quick play through though.

Graphics is not bad but game play is very repetitive so you'll get bored after a while. It defo won't be a game that you will want to replay afterwards, so not worth buying on steam tbh cuz you can't resell it.

How do you defeat the boss monks that have shields?

You need to use your infernal shots, you know right click hold to charge, if you use the charged shots it breaks through the shields.
