So i have been a loyal bt customer as was my parent's (on the same account they have now left and joined sky and i have kept it running) but the price gap between new and old customer has hit a crazy crazy limit

If i was a new customer i could have 12 months of bt infin 2 @ 443.48
However as i am a loyal customer they have done me this special low low price of 663.48 <<what in potato is that (they wont lower it either i called again because i thought i had called a dodgey call center cause the young girl seemed like she was on her first day or trying to swindle me).

So i have already started to look at isp's that do infin 2 speed's and from memory i rememeber that sky can be pretty bad? and virgin are also not very good (i also think they dont exist where i live)

Any help would be lovely and i really dont want to become a hopper but i currently have 220 reason's why...

They're all much of a muchness performance wise as they're all on the same kit up to the Exchange. Some may say I'm biased but I've rarely had any trouble with my Sky Fibre. It's also £10 a month for unlimited 40/10 for 12 months at the moment.

Dont sky monitor your internet browsing/downloads's? although i think that was just torrent's wasn't it? (that isnt a problem cause i dont torrent)

Ring BT to see what deals are available to you. I got my payment reduced in July so worth a try. See if you can get a new router with the deal, which you could sell or keep as a back up.

Now you've mentioned it, is Sky actually still provisioning 40/10?

They're not planning on doing a Plusnet and sneaking the packages to 40/2 are they?

Not that it affects me, just thinking for future friends and family that I refer...

I have heard nothing about any plans to introduce a 2Meeg Upload. We advertise 38 due to OFCOM rules but if your line can support it you'll get 40/10 as I do.
