Infinity Homehub/live issue.

I recently got Infinity and HH5. One of many issues I'm having which is rapidly getting me to the point I just ask for my adsl back and tell them to stuff it...

When I connect to live on log in and run the network test all good. Launch a game and any updates no issue. Play the game for instance anything with a live leaderboard and it says I'm not connected to live. Press the center button, can still see my FL logged on. So I tinkered around in the router settings with clearly no idea what I was doing and added live and my console to port forwarding and it now seems to be fine.

Should I have done that? Will that cause me any issues?

To fix these issues you need to buy a ps4.

Should be fine, either that or add the IP of your 360 to the DMZ (Assuming the home hub has a DMZ option)

Could always have a look on portforward.com

No, it'll be fine. I'd have just added the console to the DMZ instead though.

Undo it all and add the IP address to the DMZ on the router.

Job done.

Get a new router. BT Infinity routers are notorious for being absolute garbage for gaming online.
