With cable and ADSL, you can get any device off the shelf to work without too much hassle (mostly); but BT infinity is a slightly different fish.
With the new Homehub5, the infinity adapter is built directly into the hub and even if you get your hands on an old external fibre 'modem', BT refuse to give any details regarding hooking it up (you need a username and password which they won't give you, I've seen elsewhere online that you can just put [email protected] as username and password of ' ' but this doesn't always work).
Have other people gotten round this?
