Hi Peeps

I am an infrequent phone upgrader so in the last 20 years I've only bought 2 or 3 phones. I'm currently looking to replace my iPhone 7 as it is no longer properly supported and the battery is seemingly losing life.

I can afford to outright purchase something up to about £700 if needed. I'm not interested in bleeding edge but was thinking iPhone 15 or 16. But because I'm such an infrequent buyer I don't know how to get a good deal on a purchase.

I'm likely to hold on to the phone for 4 or 5 years as a minimum.

Can anyone offer advice about good purchase options?

Theres not a huge difference in price between the 14/15/16. Apple's history of updates that make the battery performance worse in older models i'd just get the 16.
Look at things like hotukdeals, and also try factor in if there is any cashback from quidco or topcashback. Might save yourself £50/£100.
