So after decorating my man cave my pc has been out of action for almost a month, i set it up at the same time as installing my new 1080ti, on turning on windows got the latest update.... and the screen was a horrible yellow.
i tried changing the settings on my tv (messing up my previously calibrated settings)
i tried multiple cables
i reinstalled display drivers.
nothing!. I was beginning to worry either my tv had an issue - seemed unlikley though as ps4 and actual tv seemed ok, or it was a problem with my GPU.
I knew about the new eye saving "night time" mode in windows, however i checked and this was off.
in desperation i turned ON night saving mode and, that did it, everything was fine. clicked it a few times, the screen went black and then when it came back the switch had sorted itself out so now it works correctly.
but what a faff!. is it too much to ask that is something tells me it is off, it should be off!. (it makes me question all the other crap which i have supposedly turned off!).
**that aside, who uses this anyway? the yellow tint is utterly horrible... and even if it isnt, then isnt it just as easy to put your tv display into a "warm" colour gradient.**
rant over....
**I was not entirely serious with this part, i was just a little irked after wasting my time.
