Inifinity Basslink

Have you heard them, are they reasonably powerful and do they offer good sound?

Thanks a lot for the information. I'll try get him town to 60-70 if I decide to get it.

I looked at them a while ago, but for the money they arent uber, i went for an elemental designs 10" sub with a seperate amp, which was a better sounding setup and was smaller, and it was cheaper to boot.

How much was your setup? Did you need to fabricate the enclosure yourself? Also, where from?

Thanks a lot :)

I got a alpine amp from the talkaudio classifieds for 25 notes, the sub was 50 notes and the box was self fabricated and cost around 10 quid.smaller and better than the infinity.

I bought one off the bay for £100 many moons ago.

Yes - they're bloody good for the money. Much better than the crappy 'boom-boxes' that fill lesser marques.

Looks nice and tidy. Probably it's a good thing that it's small, given it's going into a 'lesser marque' (;)) Fiesta. Wouldn't have much space left with a large enclosure.

Really want one just to solidify the bass, so I can take the load off the front speakers, as while my rear 6x9s are good with the bass, the fronts aren't great. Will mean less distortion also I assume, so they will go louder, am I right in thinking?

George - get in touch with me on channel motors and I'll give you a bit more info about fitting it. £80 is a good price. They are good subs, plus they take high and low inputs.

My fronts and rears are rubbish in terms of low end. They are good for top end and mid range, but bass isn't their forte - the sub takes over for that. In my car, this setup works well.

Thanks for the offer Nick. Didn't see PMs, so I started a thread in garage :)

The pictures look good, gives a good idea of the size, as there don't seem to be any floating around on the net.
