Wow the thing is large and heavy! First thing I noticed when I lifted out of the box was how heavy it was. It's also very long, sticks out of the front of my desk actually.

I got the black version, and replaced the stock fans with some blue Akasa ones, so get a nice blue glow front and back when in the dark.

I have only 2 complaints about this case...

1) The front door is very badly fitted. When on level ground, it swings inwards, meaning that it's a real pain when loading and unloading DVDs as you actually have to hold the door with one hand to stop it banging against the DVD tray. Also it rattles when the case is moved, and will open with the slightest brush, it lets down the case generally.

2) The fixing mechanism for the PCI cards is very badly designed - in order to get the PCI cards in I had to go dangerously close to the motherboard with the metal at the bottom which could have caused damage - good idea but not enough room provided to fit the cards easily and safely.

Overall though I am very happy with the case. Will post some pics later if I remember!

I bought this case a while ago and returned it. The case is solid quality but has some major design flaws.

1) The front door rattles.

2) The hard disk bays are in my opinion not adequately cooled. They even added another 80mm fan to compensate for this. But using it messes up the air flow inside the case.

3) The hard disk bays are so close to the side of the case that if you have a modular psu (like hiper) and want to daisy chain off the one rail it cannot be done. This forced me to use crappy little 2>1 converters.

4)they way the hard disks are positioned its very hard to get good cable management inside there, also the bays attached to to the side of the case are annoying as they force you to choose between a fan or a hard disk.

5) The floppy bays have been designed to only accommodate floppy drives, instead of giving us 2 extra hard disk bays we are stuck with 2 floppy bays, does anyone use 1 floppy bay these days never mind 2?

6)the 5.25 bays all have those aluminium covers on them, you can't put in a plastic cdrom as it looks stupid, really you need to invest in aluminium bezels.

7) again, the 5.25 bays are designed only to accommodate cd drives, does anyone really have a use for so many 5.25 drive bays? I would much rather have 3.5 bays as I'm a bit of a data hoarder.

8) Final niggle, The location of the USB ports, on the bottom of the case, I would much rather have saw these at the top of the case, a case of this size and weight is going to sit below your desk, not on it. A personal preference really, so guess this doesn't really count a as a problem for some.

Good things I will say, it looks damn good!
