.ink after program names-pls help

All my desktop short cuts .ink after then. For example mozilla firefox.ink. Is this right? what is the.ink?

the .ink just means it's a shortcut file, by default windows hides known file extensions, looks like you've disabled that setting, it should be under tools folder options.
