Inline remote - what phones do they work with?

Hi all

The inline remote on my headphones works as expected with an iPhone. Does anyone know with which other phones all of the inline remote functions would work with? I've heard that there can be lots of problems with these.

If it is set up to work with an iPhone then it probably won't work properly (or fully) on Android

at least not all of it will.

Apple somehow have manage to make their inline remote almost proprietary. Sennheiser for example sell momentum g(galaxy/android) and i(iphone) for this reason.

Mic will still work just the remote won't
