Hi,

I want to fit my Prolemitech MK-26 cooler on my ichill as the fans seem to be a bit load for my liking on the stock cooler. My question is do I need the additional cooling of the power phase chips etc as the ichill cooler has a secondary heatsink with thermal pads on the three lines of chips to the right of the GPU.

I will have 2x 140mm fanes on the custom cooler so they should be getting a good amount of air. Should I also place small VGA heatsinks on them as well or do you think it's not needed as I have no plans on overclocking?

I had the Prolemitech MK-26 on my MSI 980ti and it was fine not heat sinking the chips.
