inno3D 6800GT overclockability?

I downloaded Coolbits to try to OC my 6800GT to Ultra speeds, but whenever I apply the changes, the screen goes black and the LED on the monitor goes amber as though it's lost signal.

Presumably this means that the card is not overclockable? Has anyone else had this problem, or has someone actually managed to OC them successfully?

Weird. Does overclocking change the refresh rate for some bizarre reason? My rubbish monitor won't do any more than 60Hz @ 1024x768 (the monitors maximum resolution).

Another thing to point out is that when using Riva Tuner, all the sliders for overclocking are greyed out. Is there any significance in that?
