Ok so my 8800GTS blew on me on friday
seems to be creating a short circuit with the PCI-E Power plugged in, so yes its RMA time!
Anyways thought I would pick up a 7300GT DDR3 and it was the Inno 3D one I managed to get my hands on. They have replaced their really cheap white plasticy coolers with a decent looking fan/heatsink combo and I was always curious as to how these guys could clock!
I only have one in my system and the OC results astounded me! I know people have raved about these little cards before but I just want the oppurtunity to rave about them further.
Stock core 500Mhz, Stock mem 700Mhz(1.4Ghz)
Obviously we know these things will OC so the highest I have it at the moment is....
OC core 690Mhz, OC mem 850MHz(1.7Ghz)
Some decent first numbers there without really tweaking them further to see what I can get it to!
Ran 3D Mark 06 and expected nothing excellent of course and for a £30 card it done fairly respectable in my eyes!
Score of 2822! Obviously my CPU helped that bit!
So until I get my 8800 RMA'd (will probs sell the replacement tbh) or I come back from the states it looks like I'll be able to put up with this thing until August! just downloading Episode 1 now as I ran Half-Life 2 @ 1280*1024 and with everything @ max w/no AA and it ran smoothly
Pretty decent wee card and I was just curious how some of the other clocks around here have came up.
