Inno3d chill x3 1070 and water block compability

Hi and welcome to the forums. :)

Your link to the block doesn't work. It's a tweaked reference design card so will take any reference block. I have this on mine.

The cooler on the card is excellent though. It keeps the card very cool and is also extremely quiet. It's almost pointless to water cool it but I ordered the block with the card and fitted it anyway. It doesn't overclock any better under water but does hold a higher clockspeed due to the lower temps.

Reference design block so will be fine. It's damn expensive though. Don't fancy one of the Aquacomputer blocks? They are a work of art and look fantastic. The stock backplate fit's with a waterblock as well (mine does with the Aquacomputer block anyway).

I like that water block will cover a GPU fully, as looks for me is really important using thermaltake core p5 case. Hope the back plate will fit together with water black, if not than more expense.

It should fit because all of the blocks need to use the available holes on the card. There is one screw on the block you have to fit before you put the backplate on as it sits underneath it. If I remember right it's down the centreline of the card at the pci-e power connector end. With the block you are going for being longer it may not be the same but check to make sure first.
