Following on from my thread in general hardware, i've narrowed down my spec to 2x cards...

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 460 OC 1024MB

Which of those cards should i be looking at? a £2 price different, and a 2x Fan Vs 1x Fan+Exhaust.....so confused!!... Would there be much difference in performance and noise/watts drawn? both appear very similar but someone in the know might be able to better compare them :p

Also noticed that these seem to use 2x Power Supply, wow, cards are getting hungry for more power!

Cheers

Then remove it before a Don notices.

I imagine a "Don" is a moderator ? Why would i need to do that ? Its purely for comparison.....are competing links not allowed on OcUK ?

Edit:I notice that its been censored anyway.

If you buy the Inno3D over the Gigabyte your mental in my opinion.........:D:D

I take it from this comment, that Inno3D isnt as good as Gigabyte then, Any ideas on noise from those 2 fans? I imagine they can turn slower with the two of them, thus = less noise?

2 fans = better cooling and quieter.

Its forum's rules you can not mention or provide links about or to competitors.

Gigabyte is better than inno3d.

After doing some research, I went for the 1GB Gigabyte version, it gets great reviews all round and comes slightly overclocked (although you'll be able to get better clocks than that on any card if you're confident overclocking it yourself).

The gigabyte is the superior card but to be honest you wouldnt have been dissapointed either way. I have the inno3d card (bought a websites 'own' version and it was the inno3d, The cooler is great, in an antec 300 and the max temp ive got is 61. The 460 is a great piece of kit thats only been tanted my some companies fiddling about with the cooler after and trying to put their mark on it and cocking it up royally.

I know youve already bought the card xD but still wanted a say. Both great cards but the gigabyte is the superior one - an aftermarket design that has improved in the stock cooler.
