input lag

what is considered good input lag now?
not sure why but i looked in to this and found out my monitor came with 2 different IPS panels, one 31ms and the other 4ms
just tested it and this one is a 31ms one
from what i can read that is still fine but it's a big difference between 31 and 4!

hmm, how much for a 24 or 27inch with low input lag and doesn't look pants...

monitor I have is an HP LP2475 - +5yrs old

yeah I don't mind spending a bit on a monitor (but not excessive amounts) as it's so important and doesn't get upgraded often

there are much more expensive ones - what do they do that warrants the higher price tag\?
