Input popup?

Hi all.

I bought a BenQ G2420HDBL the other day. Very happy with it so far. I have a slight annoyance with it though.

It only really occurs during startup, although it sometimes happens while I'm actually using it, e.g. Cltr+Alt+Del out of games. It's just the popup you get on screen which says "Input: DVI", I know that, I plugged it in!!

I know this happens on most screens but I've never seen it with this much frequency.

Like I said, I don't see it that much so it's not a massive problem but if there's an easy fix that'd be great.

there might be a way to disable it in the OSD. Have you checked? also the cable might be loose

do u have a differnt res running ingame? mine usually comes up on my monitor when the res is changed mostly

I've looked in the OSD but nothing obvious is there. Cable is definitely not loose.

Game may well be ina different res as I just checked it quickly and didn't even setup a new res so that's a possibility.

I'll investigate more when I get a sec!
