I currently have an Audigy 4 pro in my PC. i was wondering if there was maybe another card with more inputs.

I'm looking for maybe 4 or 5 input jacks (for guitar, bass, mic, drum mics, etc.) - Short of using a protools solution, does anyone here know a card which could help?

Would 2 creative cards work ok? ie. an Audigy 4 Pro and an X-FI?

Are you looking to multi-track things?

If so, you need a true multi-input card like an M-Audio Delta series, or USB/Firewire interface like the MOTU or Presonus stuff.
You'll probably need some pre-amps too. In a budget range I would go for the FMR's RNP pre or the ART tube pre.

If you just need stereo (i.e. 2-channel) in and out then have a look at the M-Audio 2496 and a mixer (or M-audio 192 if you have balanced connections on the rest of your gear).

M-Audio ASIO support is solid as hell :)
I hear the MOTU stuff is amazing, if you plan on going the USB/Firewire route.

I would steer clear of Creative for any recording duties.
I would steer clear of them for anything to be honest - except for maybe a pure gaming card. Even then I'd probably be looking at the M-Audio Revolution 5.1.
