Insane Framerates with 980Ti (Doom)

Just installed and tested the new DOOM game with my system.

I'm curious as I am getting WAY higher FPS than I thought running at 1440p (144hz) with my 980Ti.

I'm averaging 115-144FPS with everything on Ultra, have there been some improvments with Drivers lately or is this about right ?!

Either way I'm not complaining, it's just I've got a 1080 on the way and it's making me question the need !

Im maxing 144fps with a single 980ti SC ultra settings , i also have a 5960x @4.0ghz on my test bench , but i also got another 2 to put in oce pc case is painted and customized .

Nice ! Same res/refresh as me too ?
