I've been going to the gym for the best part of the last 10 years, I've never really been in to getting ripped etc, I just enjoy working out and cardio. Getting to the gym is getting a little trickier now with my shift patterns at work, so I was looking at alternatives to going to the gym and came across something called The Insanity 60 Day Workout.

Has anyone tried this or anything similar to it? Its about £100 but seems to be pretty decent from what I've seen on youtube, and the reviews on amazon are almost entirely positive. I'm very tempted to give it a dabble.

im currently trying out p90x (by the same company as insanity) and its a good workout but too early to comment on results

It won't offer you anything you couldn't do by yourself if you were motivated enough to do so but the fact it costs £100 almost makes you feel like you have to follow it.

The people who buy these sort of workouts will more than likely be the type of people who need a push to get things going so good reviews aren't really surprising. Everyone else just won't buy it.

i er.. obtained.. my p90x not for motivation, but for the routine. a guide to follow. you still need self motivation to do it. its all so easy to put it off

I think it's a great program. I too obtained it... the Mrs did it really, I was left out as she did it in the mornings, and when it came to the evening I wasn't keen on doing it on my own. (any excuse)

I'm currently doing Shaun T's T25, which is like insanity, but 25 minutes all out. Non stop. 5 days a week, 1 stretch day, 1 rest, for 70 days. I'm on day 3, so you know, ton of room left to fail.

I'm the one who needs the push, which this is good for and god my bum muscles are killing today. Never knew I had any! Will see how it all goes but should get me a bit more in shape for ski season!
