I have a w850i and it comes up with "inset sim". Its on vodaphone and the sim is vodaphone?! Is it blocked or is there a problem with the sim reader? The phone has suffered water damage.
You could try taking the SIM out and putting it back in if you haven't already, but it does sound like the water damage has ruined the phone's ability to read SIMs.
