Insidious: The Red Door

Yep saw this - sharing my thoughts from the ‘what did you watch last night?’ thread:

The acting and dialogue etc is fine but the premise is just crap - the characters have forgotten the events of the previous films are are just rediscovering everything that we, the audience, already know. The scares are of the ‘boo’ variety since there is no tension and a couple of these are laughably lame i.e. ‘a figure jumping up from bedsheets with no consequences’

The characters themselves are likeable and it’s watchable, but overall it’s just too redundant to recommend.
