hi guys just a general question im wondering what your best or biggest solution you have implemented to a company and how it was an improvement over what you previously had ?

for me its 2 things, new phone system that wasn't charging us per license per phone and user and also for voice mail. and secondly changing the printer provider to save us nearly 20k a year in printing.

Dragging a company kicking and screaming into WDS / SCCM for deployment and software installations, saving literally hundreds of man-hours and freeing up staff to work on genuinely interesting projects instead of installing Acrobat on people's desktops.

nice, I implemented that recently.. and i struggling for new ideas
we currently run things such as AX, cisco vpn, sharepoint, 3cx phone system, office 2013, spice works, server 2012 in most places, DFS, print servers, esxi 5.5 , origin netowkr monitor, barracuda firewalls and email filter and now im really out of things to do / improve

What's your Wi-Fi like? Is it RADIUS authed using the same credentials as people use for login/email/etc? Do you have different policies applied to different groups of people? Do your receptionists have the ability to generate expiring codes for visitors? Do you have to plug in when you're in a conference room to get a decent speed?

Wi-Fi projects can expose you to a lot of areas and the end result is a real improvement for the business.

Wi-fi uses some Siemens units that we use globally and work on radius. they actually work very well and trouble free what what is essentially 30 odd access point around the world.
