Hi,
I have an Inspiron N5110 laptop computer.
Just recently the laptop has been very slow, even when accessing the BIOS menu and Dell Diagnostics.
I have tried changing the memory etc, and this does not appear to resolve the issue. The problem is also very intermittent, in terms of going for a number of days without an issue, and then suddenly starting again.
The error message the Dell Diagnostics displays is: -
Error Code 2000-0221
Validation 60222
Msg : System board – Interval timer not functional
The laptop is out of warranty, and appears according the Dells’ website, mean a mainboard replacement.
Has anybody had this issue before and recommend a fix?
Thanks
