Hi,

Ive currently got windows installed on RAID0 with 2 partitions (one for OS and one as a store), is there anyway to install Linux in a dual boot setup without recreating the array?

Ive tried Fedora & Suse, Suse wants to wipe the lot and start again & Fedora says it cant install anywhere, although it spots the array.

Why not try the VMWare route if you can't get it on otherwise? That's how I'm doing it.

I might just do that :) Used to use VMWare all the time about a year ago..completely slipped my mind as an option..Thanks for reminding me :)

From what ive read online it seems to be due to the sata raid controller not being true raid and linux seeing it as fake-raid..

in which case vmware is definately the path of least resistance. ;)
