Install problem

I have an old game here, IGI2 Covert strike which i'd like to install again, its completely legit, i have the cd's manual, code and case!

However the install keeps failing and i think its because its having trouble copying a file from the CD. Is there a way i can copy them off to my HDD and then install from there without the CD?

is it a damaged cd?

try using unstoppable copier to copy from D:\ to C:\GAMECD\ (or whatever folder)

enable the log, and include subfolders

should be able to just run the setup from your hard drive if its an old game

It appears that the cd might be damaged, although i cant see anything problematic visually on the surface.

forgot to say, if there are damaged files, this program will skip that file and carry on, then the log file will say which files failed to copy
