Install problems with windows 7

Decided to format and reinstall windows earlier but for some reason formatted the C drive with Acronis Disc Director and then restarted and tried to boot Fron the windows 7 disc.Selected the boot from CD option and it tells me to press any key to boot from cd as per normal.Pressing any key goes not work and it still proceeds to try and load windows which results in a 0xc000000f error.Its like the keyboard isn't working apart from when I select the boot device.

I tried to restore an image a made using Acronis True Image but the same problem,keyboard won't work so I can't select the option !!

Any help great appreciated.Totally baffled.

Try a different port, or a PS/2 keyboard.

Logitech G110.Strange how the arrow keys work to select the boot device but when I press any key to boot from the disc it just ignores it.

Tearing my hair out here.
