Install steam game from Disc.

Purchased Rage, and want to activate it through steam, but install from disc.

I found two methods:

No one's installed from disc before?

I just stuck the dvd in and then used the autorun steam thing that comes up. It takes a while to get going but you just have to wait and then it installs from the dvd's.

Whack it in the drive and use auto run. If you run into problems, use the fix found in the FAQ that's in my signature.

Yeah I had an issue with Homefront, it installed half from the disk then decided to download the other half :s
