Install Vista On External HDD

Hello,

Is it possible to intall Vista onto a external HDD?

Any guides?

I have a notebook with a broken monitor and no OS on its HDD installed, i want to install vista on it and then use my HDTV as the new monitor

At the moment, i cant use the TV as its not got an OS on.

Not easily. Vista will only install to an internal drive unfortunately.

It probably is just about possible but if you're looking for a quick solution then the answer is as good as 'no'.
