Install Vista on Macbook

My friend is planned to buy MacBook and asked me to install Vista on it.

Correct me if I am wrong, is it not possible to install Vista on MacBook without using Bootcamp or Parellel?

i think you have to have bootcamp or parallels on. bootcamp will give you a native install, whereas parallels will be a virtual machine. both are good depending on what you want.

games = bootcamp
a certain program = parallels

Thanks, I guess it's necessary to use them for Vista to work.

If your going to use parrallels you'll need either premium or ultimate vista as the other 2 can't be installed on a virtual machine.
