Installation fails on driver set up

so ive got the ASUS Xonar DG PCI 5.1 Audio Card and im running the installation and it says it fails and asks me to restart the pc which i did, nada.

the manual says that it goes from win7 downwards, im on win8.1 so im not sure..but i thought itll work

Windows 8.1 drivers (version 8.1.8.1822 beta) are available on their website
