installation guide for SSD?

I read somewhere on here, a link to a website that tells you how to install your first ssd
can anyone help me please, my PC just gone down and im currently on a laptop with an ssd drive on its was to me

I just bought an ssd drive last night when my pc was working, come home from work, turn it on and it doesent work anymore

just a normal installation, not clone
