Installation of Bespoke Linux App via Terminal from Github ?

Hi,

There is a bespoke linux app available on github that I would like to get installed on a Linux PC.

However, I have not got a clue how to work out what files are required from github and install them via Terminal.
I can install Linux on a PC and navigate my way around with a mouse but for github and command line gubbins in Terminal I am lost.

Is there anywhere I can find someone to get the app installed for payment of a fee?
Preferably not Freelancer or whatever it turned in to. A remote access install would be OK as I can install TeamViewer on the machine.

Your best bet would be to post the link to the software here, and let us know which Linux Distro you're using and someone might be able to help. Lots of different ways, from binaries, to scripts to building yourself.
