Hi all, I'm trying to load some software from CD onto my laptop, but I get an error message saying the following:-

Code:
The language of this installation package is not supported by your system

I'm running XP Pro, thanks

Guessing the software is english, maybe try adding English(U.S) as a language in 'Regional options' within control panel?
failing that, can you provide more detail? What software it is, version number, what version of windows you are running etc....

oh yeah sorry. My parents bought MS Office 2003 Pro back for me from Japan, but its in Japanese. I've added all the laguages now and it installs, i can get through the install by guessing the OK button etc, but like MS Word is all in Japanese. I guess there is no way to alter the language of it!

Thanks

Hiya,
You should be able to download and install the trial version from MS. Tell it that you have a retail key and enter the one from your japanese version, and it should then activate into the full version. (Only tried this with my Student key, but should be vaild for all)
