Installed Gaming Chair tilt mechanism covers/controllers oppositely

Hey everyone, so I did a stupid mistake, which is that I installed the tilts covers/controllers at the opposite side of where they should have. Now I can't take them off the chair base by hand force. I also can't use the functions associated with them (chair height/rocking), which is why I must get this fixed.

Anyone has ideas how can I get this fixed? Thanks in advance.

Note: The chair I got is Arozzi Vernazza

Insufficient strength or some other reason?

Having looked at the instructions I can't see anything you could attach incorrectly that couldn't easily be reversed. Maybe a picture of what you've done would help.

They are basically stuck, and I feel I applied plenty of force. I think I will try applying a bit of oil today in hope it will make it a bit loose.
