Hi,

Installed my First AIO, Arctics Freezer 3 240m. Rally impressed with the Cooling and noise level so far. however what Setting should i change in Windows, software or my Bios for this?.
so far the PC feels maybe a little less speedy than before and ive had abit of a hang at the start of windows launching it from a cold boot 2nd time round which has never happened before .

Squeezed this monster into a SSUPD Meshilious using slim fans. i'd really not recommend it, was Fing Hard work! it but it fits! it however is much cooler, even 10 degrees cooler than my air cooler at idle and almost silent which is amazing.

btw i am using the single lead to the CPU fan header not the three seprate ones. didnt see the point but open to any advice if it makes a difference!

Thanks

Paul

if you are happy with the cooling compared to your old cooler, all there is left to do is overclock your cpu more, failing that, you're done!

the 3 separate pwm cable give you control of the fans, pump and vrm fan.

Previous AF I would always run the fans without using the AIO single header.
For the AF3, using the 3 separated connectors is beneficial, if you have enough ports to connect them. I found the VRM fan won’t be annoying until 70%. The fans will perform great from 40% and up, but the pump I found noisier than before. To tame it, I had to reduce the speed to the point of affecting the performance. Tried two 360s (RGB and Black) and a 420 RGB, so either I’m very picky for noise or the pump is noisier than before.

Also, sometimes the AIO positioning can contribute to efficinecy. Do you have any pics of how you installed it?
