installed new card but scrolling on screen is odd

hey i bought a new gfx and then installed it appears to be fine, but when i scroll down on stuff like internet explorer its not a smooth motion like normal, it is a bit jittery and slow

any reason?

also is there any software for nvidia cards that i should get. i used to have an ati card

sounds like hardware acceleration is turned off or the drivers are not installed.

i just put the cd that was with the cd.... im downloading drivers now from nvidia site and as sson as that is done i will download nvidia software

also how much of an increase will i notice from a 9600 128MB to a 6800GT 256mb? a lot in stuff like fear?

Did you remove the ATi Drivers using driver cleaner?

driver cleaner? i just put the ati cd in and removed all components of ATI from the pc
