So i recently bought the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (120mm) and installed it but when i turned on my computed i was getting no display what so ever. I tried with a hdmi connected to my tv which i usually use on this desktop and then i tried on another monitor still no luck.I am also getting a red light next to the ram and tried different ram but still nothing. I then put the stock cpu cooler back on but im still getting the issue.

My rig is as follows

HIS HD 7970 IceQ X² 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 750W V2 High Performance '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply

Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual/Quad Channel Kit

AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8350 Black Edition 4.00GHz (Socket AM3+) Processor -
Retail

Samsung 256GB SSD 840 PRO SATA 6Gb/s Basic

Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 AMD 990FX (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard

LiteOn IHAS124-04 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM

Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.C 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM

Firstly, you need to triple check all the cables are plugged in correctly and securely.

Next try the board with only 2 stick of RAM in.

Also try the RAM in different slots, IIRC AMD runs on single channel RAM.

Also try reseting the CMOS by removing the battery (and the PSU) for 5-10 minutes (more if you can wait that long).

Yeah tried that still getting the red light and no display.=/

Did you by any chance remove the Cpu, before installing the new cooler?
If so, check to make sure you hav`nt damaged any pins.

Try losening it a little (aslong as it is still in contact).

I don`t think that is the issue, mate.

I then put the stock cpu cooler back on but im still getting the issue.

Have you run Memtest or tried with some different ram.
Might be a long shot, but try taking the Cmos battery out, leave for about 15 minutes and replace.

Yey tried memtest and diff ram also took the cmos battery out still nothing im stumped

does that cooler have pushpins or a backplate? sometimes if you press down to hard on the mb you get ram issues due to the board flexing

try reseating the ram sticks and undo each cpu cooler mounting screw by a quarter turn

Dont suppose you removed any power leads that might of been in your way when you removed the cooler(especially the 4 pin molex plugs if your board needed any). Also take it the cooler fan had the same fan plug on it.and it is reconnected ok?
I would also google your board and the red light to narrow the error code down.

I took the whole motherboard out to mount the cpu coolers new plate so yeah i unpluged all cabels none are out of place or lose triple checked them all
