I received a rx7900xtx today. Upon installing and attempting to boot the pc, no signal is sent to the monitor. I previously had a rtx3070. I used DDU to remove the drivers for it, shut down the pc and then installed the new gpu. The cables are connected securely and all the fans are spinning on the gpu. It only boots to safe mode. Othwise the screen stays boack. I'm using a display port cable that was working fine with the previous gpu. My specs are as follows: cpu: ryzen 7 5800x3d. 16gb corsair ram at 3200mhz. PSU: Seasonic prime gx-850. Motherboard: asus prime b450f gaming. I installed the most recent bios update when I installed the Ryzen cpu. Thank you for the help in advance!

Hello other correctly spelt Kieran

I had a similar issue when I got my new monitor I wasn't getting a signal.

How are you connecting to the screen?

When I used The DP connection I initially didn't get a signal until I switched to HDMI received the signal and then switched back to DP after.

Sounds simple and I don't know why it done that but I didn't over think it as it helped.

Ah okay. I have been using a display port cable. I will try that with a HDMI and give you an update afterwards.

As you can boot into safe mode, try a different cable (DP or HDMI).

I have had old cables cause display issues in the past for me.
