Installed Scythe Kaze-Master and now get CPU fan error on startup

Hi Guys

I have just installed the Scythe Kaze-Master 5.25" Fan Controller - Black in my rig and have connected all the fans to it including the CPU fan.

Now I get the CPU fan error on startup as the fan is not connected to the motherboard. Is there anyway to stop this from happening. It starts up fine but I get the beeps relating to the error.

Any ideas to stop the error from occuring.

Plug a fan into the CPU header.

Have a dig about in the bios - some boards have options for error reporting.

From the BIOS, go to the Power menu, then the bottom option, Hardware monitor.

Fiddling with the settings there should do it.

its in the BIOS on asus boards, go to hardware monitor, then the cpu fan speed which should say n/a, highlight it and select "ignored"
