complicated a bit ...

but split a drive into 2 partitions

then installed Windows 7 RC onto one of these .. .it installed fine - rebooted during the process (as per normal installation) - installed my software etc ... all fine

but when I went to boot the next day - I realised that I'd installed Windows 7 Beta on the other partition .. (on same drive)

I press F8 to choose boot drive - choose the drive - but the partition with W7 Beta seems to have priority ...

I know it must be technically possible to boot to the other partition as the W7 installation process managed it - just can't fathom it out.

tried editing the boot loader (can't remember the software I used) - for the Windows 7 beta (which I can boot to) - to add a Windows 7 RC option .. but didn't work :(

any ideas please ?

RC should have priority because was installed later  should've overridden beta's bootloader IMO.
Boot from Windows disk and format beta partition/repair RC partition, either/both should do the trick.
