Hey guys again, basically got everything set up CPU cooler fans everything is working as cool as ever.

Earlier I installed Windows 7 using my mobo's HDMI. once everything loaded up it showed all the wireless connections on the taskbar(I didnt even had to install the CD Drivers) I typed in password and everything loaded up IE and its all perfect,

I then changed it to the HDMI on my HD6870 as I'll be reliant on gaming on that card lol. Loaded it into Windows and on the taskbar it shows up as no connection. tried installing drivers CD but after that still no connection. bare in mind no 6870 drivers are installed. as im gonna do that online to get the latest ones.

Can any1 give me a hand plz on wats going on?

thanks again :)

It's overscan. Always seem to do this on HDMI connections for both AMD and Nvidia.

Open up Catalyst Control Centre. Then, under "My Digital Flat panels", go to "Scaling options" and drag the slider to 0%. This will get rid of the black border.

Thx now my screen has sort of zoomed in a bit lol? can only see half the window button, my HDMI is on 720P and resolution is 1280x720.

Whoops, maybe 0% is too close :p Just move the slider until it fits the screen?
Just adjusted it and its just about right, :) Can you recommend any good free anit-virus programs?? I have AVG on both my laptop and PC but are there any that are just as good if not better? need to install one now since Im using the net on this PC and there is no protection?

I replied to your thread in the Windows forum on that ;)

You have too many threads even you are starting to lose track :p!

ryt I'll leave the mobo update since its not too necessary. how do you guys maintain your PC from slowdowns etc(just want to maintain it running v fast just like it is . I do delete downloaded program and unwanted programs I have installed and deleted thru recycle bin. I delete temporary files/ history cache thru IE. what shud I set the pagefile too when I have 8 GB of RAM?? and are there any things that can help keeping it the way it is.

a lot of questions I know :)

Oh and I only have amd catalyst/avast running in the task bar on msconfig so thts no prob for now.
