Installing 2 DDR3 1600 mhz Dual Channel RAM help??

Hey guys Im installing 2x4GB RAMs but do I install in A1 and B1(blue slots) or A2 and B2(black slots) Its the blues first right?

Usually for dual channel operation you need to put the RAM in slots of the same colour and usually you start with the slot nearest the processor.

So if the slot nearest the processor is blue then use both blue slots.

I can't be more specific without knowing the actual model of the motherboard.

Great thanks yeh the nearest slots to CPU is blue so I'll start with them cheers mate. this is the board I just received last night- Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 AMD 760G (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard
