Hi there..i have 2 hardrives in my pc,one raptor with my vista 64 and games on and one 500gb WD for storage.I also have a 180GB hardisk from my old pc that i want to install....whenever i plug the sata connector in to my 180GB drive and i go to my computer and manage the drives i cannot see the 180GB drive,i also cannot see it in the bios..what am i dong wrong...i did notice that the sata cable that i have connected to my 180GB drive is connection no4 instead of connection no3 as connection number 3 wont reach(my drives are spread out in).Do i need to plug sata connection number 3 in drive no3 it dont it matter??Is this the problem of something else maybe?Jumper problem?
